The Limousin is a historic province of central France, it i made up of upland pastures, forestry and pure water, springing from the region itself or just a little higher in the Central Massif.

Limoges, the capital, is famous for its enamels and porcelains, while the rich pastures of the surrounding countryside are used for raising the famous Limousin beef cattle, one of Europes leading breeds.
